ALL STAR EVERYTHING.

As you may or may not know, 2 Sundays back was the NBA allstar game in Houston, and if you did watch it, you would have noticed the 'colourblocking' that went on with the kicks the stars were wearing. From Lemon Green to bright red as well as what seemed to be like 'peach-ish' pink on some players (Mamba Baba!) they flooded our screens with both Amazing talent and bold sports fashion.

It wasn't only Kobe's defense on Lebron that was tight, but the adidas gear that the players put on. I especially liked the military styled Warmups that showed the wearer's achievements like medals in the military order.

notice how bryant's trophies are more.....

For more Basketball 'Medals' from the 50 greatest players of all time, check here.
The Jerseys weren't ground breaking, but i did like the type treatment alot. The unusual stencil design was very refreshing for me.

Some work went into the thought process of these uniforms and I'm guessing the display of colour was deliberate.

I also like the positioning of the names, call it desperate, but it was nice to see something different, which can be very hard to pull off for this event..

And of course the shoes, Oh! the shoes. Adidas made sure they're athletes (you know the ones, that get paid, millions of dollars to wear shoes and play in them..yeah! those ones) had they're signature shoes, only in crazy hues...

Nike got in on the action for Lebron, Kobe and K.Durant...
Even the game socks took on a crazy look...

All in all the game was a blast, Kobe was unfair to Lebron with 2 blocks, Chris Paul was deserving of the mvp and all is well with the world.
