DESIGN REVIEW: McAllen Data Center

A great piece of work from Argentina today, by Lucas Gomez Freige.

McAllen DC is a hosting service company for which the design was truly able to capture the essence of what they do, drawing inspiration from related elements such as server arrays and fiberoptic cables.

The word mark has a smooth elegance that compliments the corporate-ness of the logo.

The designer also developed a set of cute icons to support the branding, possibly for future communications, ads, posters and all what not (you can see them in action on the official website, which i don't think was designed by Mr. Freige) The corporate stationery and other touch points are also very well done with a strong sense of sophistication.

Its such a simple solution for McAllen that places them in corporate upmarket position commanding attention and letting you know they should be taken seriously.
